HD 4850 for €74, bargains galore

ATI is
preparing to adjust prices of its 55nm HD 4000 series lineup, and we're looking at some significant cuts over the next few days.

For example, the HD 4850 is apparently dropping to under €75, and the lowest list price currently stands at €73, which is nothing short of a bargain, as it will end up cheaper than the 40nm HD 4770. The slightly more powerful HD 4870 drops to €115, while the HD 4890 will drop to under €170.

We don't know the exact prices just yet, as e-tailers are still updating their prices, and they keep changing from minute to minute, and we will update the story once we get the exact numbers.

In any case, it's clear ATI will put a smile on quite a few faces, as getting an overclocked HD 4850 for just €74,- is nothing short of a bargain.
