Better integration but HD unlikely

Pine Trail M Platform for upcoming mobile Atom CPUs should be available at some point in Q4 2009, but the wide availability should be expected in Q1 2010.

The new CPU branded as N450 as we wrote before, works at 1.66GHz and has the same old 512KB cache and of course it remains a single core with two threads. The memory will now work at DDR2 667 speed which is definitely better than 533MHz with the Netbook 2008 platform and N270 CPUs.

Since Pineview M Atom has IGP integrated on the CPU its graphics core will now work at not really impressive 200MHz. Previously graphics was a part of 945GSE chipset and ran at 133MHz. There is no word of HD support and we believe that this new chipset still won't be able to cope with it, but it will have a great TDP and should enable better battery life.
