Computex 09: Custom designed motherboard

Albatron has as many other manufacturers done an ION based design, although the company has gone for a custom motherboard design suitable for very compact cases. The board doesn't really stand out from the other ION based product we've seen so far, but it offers a wide range of connectivity options.

At the rear of the board you'll find an HDMI port, eSATA, two USB 2.0 ports, a DVI port and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The board can also have up to four front facing USB 2.0 ports, or four USB 2.0 via headers. The boards also has two SATA connectors. The memory slots are located at the bottom of the board.

Albatron did at least go for the dual core Atom 330, so whatever devices this board ends up in should offer decent performance for every day usage.
