Acer has reduced order volumes of the 11.6-inch Aspire One 751 netbook to Quanta Computer, and industry sources claim the reason is unsatisfactory (read low) sales.

The 11.6-inch netbook sales apparently haven’t picked up as customers tend to prefer 10-inch ones, as they come with lower price points and superior mobility.

Still, all’s not lost as the same sources say that price-drops will eventually result in 11.6-inch netbooks reaching a sweet spot for customers.
