Outage after outage
Search engine Google seems to be suffering from outage after outage at the moment.
Google Search and Google News performance slowed to the speed of an a geriatric snail on its way to a French cookery course where it suspects it might be the appertiser. Then it was the turn of Gmail, Google Maps and Google Reader. Googlefail is one of the most searched terms on Twitter too.
Things started to speed up by late yesterday afternoon, Euro time, and Google admitted there were a few problems. Ironically few people seemed to rush to Yahoo, they simply sat and moaned about it on Twitter.
The last time that Google had anything this bad was in February and it mostly stuffed up Google News. Before that there was trouble with Google Talk and Gmail in December.
So far there is no word on what caused the glitches.
