€159/£129 in Europe

Nvidia has officially announced the availability of its 3D vision kit in the UK and Northern Europe, at an MSRP of €159 on the continent or £129 in the British isles.

The new technology is endorsed by developers of the upcoming EA title Need for Speed: Shift, who claim the 3D effects provided by Nvidia's latest brainchild blew them away. Samsung is also in on the act, as it's one of few panelmakers to offer a 120Hz display needed to enjoy 3D Vision.

Nvidia is also offering the kit bundled with Samsung's SyncMaster 2233RZ 120Hz LCD monitor for €479/£399. The kit is already available with several retailers, although some are asking a bit more than €159 for it.
