The Mini 10v
According to a post on Engadget, Dell is readying its low cost Mini 10v which we reported about a while back, although back then it was known as model 1011 or codename Bear. It seems like this latest addition to Dell's netbook range will be offered at real netbook pricing.
The Mini 10v will feature an Atom N270 processor, the 945GSE chipset, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 120GB hard drive, WiFi, 1.3Megapixel webcam and Windows XP, but you'll be able to pick on up for US$299 (€223/$199) plus tax later this month in the US.
In related news the current Mini 10 using the Z-series Atom processors is now available with SSD as a cost option. 32GB will cost an extra $75 while 64GB goes for $125. You can also get Ubuntu pre-installed rather than Windows XP on the current Mini 10.
