XFX will do HD 4770 with premium cooler |

Might not be a $99 card
According to the picture from Cpuusers.gr forum, XFX will also have a reference HD 4770 that will use a blower fan instead of the regular one, which the community branded as one of the ugliest reference coolers ever.
The card has no XXX labels so we guess that this one also has reference clocks. The neat fact is that it apparently features a black PCB with black cooler which some users might like. This isn't the 1GB version that we wrote about here, as the box clearly states that it comes with 512MB of memory.
This could just be another reference card, and everybody is just waiting for the non-reference overclocked cards, as this 40nm GPU is really overclocking friendly. That is unfortunately still not possible as AMD clearly saying no to such cards, at least for the time being.
We already wrote that AMD used that "ugly" cooler in order to lower the price and make it a $99 card, so this one might be a tad more expensive.
