The 17-inch GX733

MSI has announced a newest member of its gaming notebook series, the 17-inch GX733. The new GX733 is based on AMD's RX781+SB700 chipset, Turion X2 Ultra processor and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 with 512MB of DDR3 memory.

The new GX733 measures 395x278x26.5-35mm (LxDxH) and weighs 3.2kg. The 17-inch LCD display has a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 pixels while the rest of the features include up to 4GB of DDR2 667/800 memory, up to 500GB of SATA HDD storage, DVD Super Multi or Blu-ray, HD audio with 4 speakers and a subwoofer, HDMI and D-Sub outputs, and MSI's Eco Engine and Turbo Drive Engine for one button CPU overclocking.

The rest of the specs include three USB 2.0 ports, PCI Express card slot, Gigabit LAN and n-draft WLAN, USB/eSATA combo port, 2.0M web cam and a 4-in-1 card reader.

The new GX733 will be available with a 6 or 9-cell battery and as always MSI didn't announce the availability date and the price.
