Dual-slot cooler with two fans

Palit has announced two new GTX 285 graphics cards. Both cards will have the same custom dual slot cooler with two fans and both will have the same specifications. The only difference is the amount of memory, so in adition to the 1GB version Palit has launched a 2GB version as well.

Both cards work at 648MHz for the core and come with either 1 or 2GB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2.5GHz and paired up with a 512-bit memory interface. As noted, the card uses Palit's custom dual slot cooler with two PWM fans and four heatpipes, so we guess that there will be some additional overclocking potential in these cards, or at least the temperatures will be lower.

The rest of the features include support for DirectX 10, Nvidia's triple SLI, PhysX and CUDA, and it comes with dual-DVI outputs. Unfortunately, the release date and the actual price of these two cards is still unknown, but we are sure that Palit will have more info during CeBIT.
