180.29 brings full OpenGL 3.0 support

 

Nvidia rolled out a new version of their proprietary video drivers for Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris open source Operating Systems. The new version of a driver introduces full OpenGL 3.0 support for all Geforce 8 and newer graphics cards. Geforce 9300 GE and Quadro NVS 420 are also supported.

The drivers will also introduce improvements in GPU's video memory handling coordination, power management workarounds, various crashes, and the list goes on.
