microSD for 300 hours of music
Patriot Memory has announced its newest addition to a flash memory lineup of products, the 16GB microSDHC card with SDHC adapter.
According to the guys at Patriot Memory, 16GB capacity on such a small card has become a necessity. Mobile phones are evolving to something more than just a phone and storage space is more and more important.
The new card can store over 6,000 photos or 300 hours of music and is rated with a Class 2, SD speed rating, which means that it guarantees minimum sustained write speeds of 2MB/s. This is not super fast, but it should be enough for mobile phones.
The new Patriot 16GB microSDHC card should be available soon with a price tag of around €40, which sure is cheap.
