Transformers movie sequel to get game Print E-mail

Since the
first signs of promotions for the new Transformers movie sequel have now been launched, it comes as no surprise that news reaches us that we will see a sequel to the Transformers movie game that was previously released as well.

The sequel which is titled “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” will receive the title on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms that will put the player in the shoes of an Autobot or Decepticon to complete missions. The game will feature the largest selection of playable Autobots and Decepticons to date all with unique abilities and devastating weaponry. The game will also feature a variety of places to battle as well as the first ever Transformer online multiplayer modes.

In addition to the version above, the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 will get a new Transformers third-person action adventure game that will be unique to these platforms. The Wii and PlayStation 2 version of the new Transformers title will have more have a focus on robot combat and flight based levels with arcade driving sequences. A Nintendo DS version is also in the pipeline that will let players take the Transformers portable to complete campaigns as either an Autobot or Decepticon.

Activision did not give any specifics surrounding a specific release date. The games are in development a various studios and the company is likely to release them in the same time frame as the new movie is set to be released.
