EU court rejects Intel delay bid |

An EU court has told
Intel to go forth and multiply over its bid to get a delay a hearing over anti-trust charges.
Intel asked the Court of First Instance, Europe's
second-highest court, asking for a delay in the investigation by the European
Commission so the company could gain access to additional documents to bolster
its defense. The chip giant has been accused by the European Commission of
giving rebates to a large retailer to try and stop it using AMD.
Intel said
it was disappointed with the ruling but that didn't change the fact that it did
nothing. AMD said it was happy that the Commission would be able to get on with
bringing Intel to justice.
