Another unspectacular netbook

It's amazing how just about every Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer have jumped on the netbook bandwagon and yet there's so little product diversity. Jetway has now joined the fray with its Zero Mini-101.

We're fairly sure that by now, you've already guessed most of the specifications, as Jetway haven't created something that everyone else hasn't already done. The Zero Mini-101 is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom N270, has the 945GSE chipset, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 10.1in display with 1,024x600 resolution and a 160GB hard drive.

Other features include a 1.3Megapixel webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, onboard Ethernet, 802.11b/g WiFi, a multi-format card reader, a D-sub connector and a pair of audio jacks. It comes with a 3-cell battery which Jetway claims is good for 2.5-3h of usage. The Zero Mini-101 weighs in at a reasonably light 1.1kg and will be available in white, black and coffee (that's brown to you and me).

No availability date or pricing has been revealed.
