Nvidia still loves us

Leadtek is apparently a quite strong partner in Asia, but it's not doing so well in Europe and the U.S., and as an exclusive Nvidia partner on Quadro in Asia the company spokesperson said that they have a strong and healthy operation.

They deny firing 450 people and they say that their current headcount is 378, and at the moment they don’t have any plans for future downsizing. We wondered how many employees the company had a few months ago, but we couldn't get that number at press time.

They claim that their business is good and they are healthy and strong. According to a release sent by Leadtek, Nvidia has stated that "Leadtek is still its direct account and the exclusive distributors of NVIDIA Quadro series in Asia-Pacific region (except in Japan).“

If our sources were wrong about the original news we do apologize, but we still stick to the story that Leadtek let a massive number of people go.
