All features revealed

MSI has revealed its new BIOS that will be featured on the upcoming X58 based motherboards. In order to promote this new BIOS MSI has prepared a flash presentation that shows all the new neat features.

Those with an MSI P45-powered motherboard will be glad to know that the new features will become available for those boards, as well. However, the main focus is the upcoming X58 based Eclipse and Platinum motherboards, as well as the other X58 models that MSI is going to launch when Intel's Nehalem shows its face.

In short, the new BIOS will include APS (Active Phase Switching), Memory-Z, OC Booster, Extreme Voltages, ClockGen Tuner, Advanced memory timings, an extended help function, a CPU specification list, which is similar to CPU-Z, M-Flash and EFI Click BIOS.

We have written about some of these features before, and now you can check them out for yourself here.
