Gitex 2008: Jensen and Ujesh to brief people

Nvidia is out to meet its partners in Taiwan and it even plans to talk about some future plans. The focus is, of course, CUDA and Physics, where Jensen the CEO and Ujesh Desai, newly promoted Vice president of graphics, will try to get the confidence back of Nvidia partners.

Physics and CUDA are two key topics and if you are important enough Nvidia might show you some new things to come. We can tell you that partners are not too confident in Nvidia's roadmap and that ATI has won some massive market share over Nvidia in the last few months. ATI has better chips across all market segments and this is not a position where Nvidia knows how to play.

It is quite certain that Nvidia will eventually put its woes behind, but it might take some time, as we don't think that its 55nm GT refresh can make a huge difference. Let's see what happens.
