Because people who do water cooling don't need a space under it? People who run watercooling could take advantage and fill the first 4 PCI-E slots. Those who use air would take 1st, 3rd, and 5th for 3-way crossfire or SLi.

Also H70 removes support completely for PCI slots. Will OEM's follow suit? Intels own motherboard will surely not have any PCI slot based on H70 don't know about OEM's maybe they will offer. What about my $250 X-Fi Xtreme Professional Gamer card Intel which I bought & it still works like a charm I throw it in the dust-bin? bastards! And do something about the PCI-E slot placement what's the point of putting PCI-e 1x or PCI slots below the PCI-E slot most graphics cards are dual-slot now...those ports become worthless. Make the PCI-E slot the last one or 2nd last one on mATX motherboards. WTF how hard is that to understand [censored]ing OEM's & Intel trying to rip people off their hard earned money :-x

Hey no! H70 chipset doesn't have in-built PCI-e 3.0! It also has 2.0...the PCI-E controller is on processor & even H60 boards can support PCI-e 3.0 that way. So H70 only has USB3.0 onboard & most H67 boards come with 3rd party USB3.0 even Intel's own boards come with 3rd party USB3.0 based on H67 chipset. I have a question for you all... Intel's own motherboards of H61/H67 do y'all think Intel will issue BIOS updates for them to support Ivy Bridge? So they in competition with OEM motherboard makers? Or they will go on screwing people & force everyone to buy H70 chipset of their own brand? I think that latter will be true coz knowing Intel they like MAXIMUM profit on EVERYTHING!
