I had a vertex 2 60gb, I was ok but then I just decide to leave sandforce chips and went for a crucial m4 64gb and I'm just impressed I don't think I'll move soon to any sandforce ssd

Read the Anandtech review, he is The authority in SSD's and has a good relationship with OCZ. The SSD Bench is a great tool for objectively comparing performance.

OCZ is very unreliable why Indillix sell themselves to OCZ shame shame my next SSD will be Samsung or Intel only. Shame on AMD for not entering SSD business & entering Memory business wtf at least sell ur own brand motherboards AMD, you really are a shameful co-operation.

Why would I buy this over a Vertex 3? If I compare the prices for the Vertex 3 120GB to the Petrol 128GB I would only save about $10 to 20$ depending on the rebates offered. The Vertex 3 is a faster drive and comes with 25nm Sync MLC NAND from Intel/Micron. Even worse for OCZ you can get the Agility 3 with 50,000 IOPS and MIR for $149 too. OCZ should price this drive below $120. That would be in line with other slower SSD's. The same is true for the Octane, right now the price is $179.99 after MIR, WTF OCZ??? PS. the Petrol 128GB offers only 35k IOPS read and 15k IOPS write with Async MLC.
