Can't believe trolls like Sodomy & Alereon. Yeah go again its not AMD's fault its the OEM's fault! Brazos has in-built graphics so it'll cost more! Do you trolls even realize whats AMD's selling point has been all these years? is that they offer more for less price compared to Intel. That is all. They can wipe out the Atom if they want by pricing Brazos similar or less but they are not looking at the bigger picture but are more concerned of making marginal profit in short period of time. This APU is not made at Global Foundries, its not 32nm. Its made at TSMC is 40nm it has no production issues you trolls I'm talking about Brazos not Llano. AMD has a ready weapon to destroy Intel in the netbook/tablet space but they aren't doing shit!

AMD partners are charging a premium for systems/platforms containing AMD APUs because they are so much better than the Atom. Not only does this justify a price premium, but AMD APU products are already being sold as fast as they can be made with current prices, meaning there's no justification for lowering prices to ship more units.

I just bought a netbook based on the E-450 APU. I'm so excited about the performance!! Now we have three E-450 netbooks in the family. All very happy!! :-)

Because the atom has no GPU built in. anyways the savings you get for having less pcb space and the circuits that go with it, means that they tend to be about the same cost (intel is only slightly cheaper)

Why aren't these low-end APU's priced same as Atom? AMD will gain a lot. All I see is netbooks, m-ITX boards based on these APU's costing $50-60 more than Atom counterparts. Come on AMD price these things right I'll buy 2. 1 netbook, 1 m-ITX board for my HTPC!

I don't think this will be 28nm. just a refresh and mini speed bump with few bells and whistles here and there. Still good product though.

E-350 and E-450 is very good APUs, I hope this time at 28nm they will hit 2.0Ghz+ even at the same TDP but better graphics and CPU muscle is well enough and best option against very expensive ultrabooks.
