No, thats where you are wrong, It does support it in crossfire, however that is all modes/types except stereoscopic 3D gaming with frame sequential displays using active shutter glasses, in otherwords any of the technologies that require quad buffer, which is just steroscopic 3d, you can still enable the old red and blue 3d, amoung others (the entire list of 3d that can be used on AMD cards is here http://www.iz3d.com/3dtechnologies - with the expection of crossfire and steroscopic).

. I am talking about Crossfire in HD3D, something AMD does not support yet. I have been playing games in 3D on my single Radeon for a while now, but Crossfire with two GPU's is not yet supported in HD3D

shows your knowledge of the topic. AMD have had 3d for much longer then nVidia, Infact going back before the buyout, to the ATI x1X00 days you could download for free (if you had nvidia it was like $100 or so) third party tools to enable 3d, and you where not limited by the type, you had the choice of steroscopic, or it you prefered you could where the 50c blue and red glasses.

Just RAGE and Skyrim? Serious Sam 3, Batman Arkham City, The Witcher 2 and several others. All had various problems on my AMD setup (6950 CF) on release, some still isnt fixed. On my nVidia setup (580 SLI) it was running flawlessly from day one.. Im not saying AMD cards are bad, they are OK, but their driver department is (still) useless. And i disagree, RAGE is bad. Locked at 60 fps is the most fail thing ever. Most hardcore FPS gamers is using at least 100 Hz on either LCD or CRT. Like OpenGL wasnt enough.. It plays and feels like a console port. Most boring game for years, everything is scripted and just meh. I wonder how they can spend years on RAGE and release garbage like that, very dissapointed. I think ID gave up on PC gaming, and went mainsteam console crap

Nah AMD are fine with the performance of the graphics cards. And mostly they have been fine with drivers. It was pretty much just RAGE and Skyrim they have had issues with lately. And guess what companies are involved? id & Bethesda. OpenGL - Fail. All my bethesda games seem to stuff up with glitches. AMD CPU's suck. AMD GPU's awesome. HOWEVER, I must say now that these drivers are out. I am running RAGE using drivers 11.11b, and with user-made rageConfig.cfg version 2.01 (from steam RAGE forums, and with FOV set at 105 instead of 80, using memory stats of 16384, RAGE is a new game and it looks FANTASTIC (aside from some blurry low textures here and there, but other than that.. WOW)

When is AMD finally going to bring Crossfire to HD3D? Its amazing to me that we are still waiting to use Crossfire for 3D gaming. I would think that feature would be a priority considering that it is gaining popularity. HD3D is not nescesarilly new anymore. I e-mailed AMD recently and got the "our engineers are working on it" lameness. Kind of liked they worked on Bulldozer for 10 years right? Always been an AMD supporter but staring to wonder now.
