If anything, I think AMD should join in on the tablet warfront since MS is creating Win8 based on mobile. It's not enthusiast market, but hey, they want to go low profile and it will be a great start.

ARM can care less about AMD, it is Intel that should worry losing out massive market share. If anything, I can see ARM buying AMD for it's patents and such to better position themselves in the market place vs. Intel.

Like i said, Amd is self destructive. Bulldozer was a failure, but you don't be insulting me by calling my money peanuts and am just going to sit here and like it, the server market might be bigger but writing off the consumer side (which is billions of dollars)that is worth way more than your company is not smart. And guess what, you're going to meet the very same Intel who has been ahead in cpu performance for a long time now, and finally now way ahead in performance per watt thanks to Bulldozer.I like your Gpu but it's going to be a long time before i buy another Amd cpu. What a bunch of bullshit.

That's because your processor SUCKS!! Its as simple as that. The day you have a well-performing and competitive uArch, then you'll reap the benefits of higher margins, better ASPs and more market share. I would like to know if this would be the same poor made excuse when intel starts releasing SB server processors, since they (AMD) are so keen to the server market...

Uh-oh, marketing talks big when engineering both succeeds and fails. I will believe desktop CPU is a commodity when AMD and VIA will manufacture competitive products. Or when ARM renders AMD obsolete.

Once AMD fixes Bulldozer's bugs and such, they'll be back into business within the PC. We need competition, we need both AMD and Intel or Intel will just hike prices up while AMD wouldn't release awesome innovative CPU technologies.
