same here, I have both as well an Intel and AMD Bulldozer, my core I7 950 oced to 4.2ghz on water with 12GB f g-skill running 7-8-7-24 timing AMD 6970 crossfire with 3 Adata 60gb SSDs and finally my Amd Bulldozer 6100 @ 4ghz on air 8gb mushkin 7-8-7-20 timings 1 Adata 60gb 1 WD black 1tb and 1 6970 and fraggin in bf3 or any game for that matter I cannot notice a difference. All these benchmarks are pointless, The AMD rig does not hickup a bit and is as fast with gaming as the intel...

I don't know how any one can say Bulldozer is a good chip. It's hotter, uses more power then the i7, and in some cases get's beaten buy i5's, and Phenoms X6. The chip that was suppose to scare Intel did nothing. You AMD fans shod not be defending this chip. You should be Sending E-Mail's to AMD, asking them why they did not work with MS to make this chip work with Win-7.

As it's being 4 yrs old chip(under dev), why didn't AMD tweak(a little) before the release? Have they forgotten to test the chips? Or were they blindly working on to release it in a hurry for an unknown reason?

What would you have said, if the new FX series' synthetic benchmarks results were better than i7? Would you have praised SBs and told it will match the FX in real world performance? OR wouldn't you have bragged for having FX? Be a neutral fan and enjoy the competition. If the competition is healthy, we, the users, will be the real beneficiaries.

Only Brainless Buffoons will believe Bulldozer sucks. Bulldozer is a good chip. The design needs to be tweaked a little. And Synthetic Benchmarks suck anyway, it’s Real World Gaming that counts and that is where Bulldozer does well in and matches the Core i7 CPUs.

BD sucks and only fool fanboy thinks otherwise. In 6-8 months we'll have choice to get IvyBridge, faster, better CPU than SB, PCIe3 support etc, what should make us wait for another revision of BD with 10-15% performance boost(promised) with no PCIe3 support? I would not mind to buy AMD CPU but not until they get it right.
