			<description><![CDATA[I plan to buy a Kindle Fire, but will gladly consider alternatives if anyone else comes up with something competitive. Somehow I have my sincerest doubts. My guess is that B&N cannot compete in the price-range, by selling at a loss, which is what Amazon is reputedly doing. If they do release a Fire-alternative, I expect it to cost $249, with perhaps some added connectivity options, or an SD card reader.]]></description>
