Sager/Clevo is the way to go. Got an NP8150 with an i7-2630QM, HD 6990M, 750GB HDD @ 7200RPM, 12GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz for ~2,100USD since I have to ship it to Asia and all. Definitely cheaper than ASUS and MSI equivalents, and definitely waaay cheaper than AlienWare!

Well all right. Bring on the Asus G75. It should have a matte full HD screen, a fixed keyboard (larger zero on the num pad and shorter shift key), and frickin' optimus with the 570M. Then they can start competing on price with MSI and both get down to more realistic prices. $1500. PS Nobody needs a blu-ray 'burner' in a laptop. Player is sufficient.
