Why is this Kepler shit all the time in main headline? This is old news and not even that exiting. "Kepler is coming perhaps next year", oh yeah, very exiting news!

Learn to read bitch http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_590/21.html Average and Peak power rates shows that the GTX 590 consumes twice the power rate. Maximum comsumption doesn't count as the GTX 590 throttles to avoid inminent explosion, motherfuker jajaja, can't deal with that? Deal with it!

i love how you say the 590 "dissipates" 380 watts compared to the 6970's 250 watts and then say the 590 consumes twice the power...which by your logic would be 500 watts!!! and by the way, why shouldn't it consume twice the wattage? it is a DUAL chip!!! you and your amd trollbuddy are the two stupidest people i have encountered since warrior24/7.

regardless of what fanboy's decide to back you up, you are continuously making yourself look more and more stupid...a dual nvidia card runs cooler than a single amd card..what else is there to argue? all you are doing is suggesting that nvidia chips can consume more power and STILL run cooler!!! a fanboy must admit fault once in a while or lose all credibility.

very intelligent post...that explains your inability to understand caveman physics.nvidia chips "may" be hotter, but somehow they run cooler...hmmmm....if you werent a total fanboy dumbfu.ck you would say that amd should put out better coolers, but your just an idiot.

What's your point? It is designed to run cooler, but doesn't mean that it uses less power and dissipates less heat. HD 6970 GPU dissipates around 250W while the GTX 590 dissipates more than 380W of heat plus consumes twice the power consumption of the HD 6970. Does it make the GTX 590 a cooler chip? No, the cooler obviously is working good, because obviously it runs that way because it has a hell of a job to keep under good temperatures two monstruosly hot GPU's. Heck, by your logic, I could say that my HD 6970 runs cooler than my GT240 because the latter idles at 70C, obviously the GT240 is the cooler chip regardless if it runs at higher temperatures as the chip is much smaller and consumes less power, troll.
