I agree but as you say ..there isn't any real solution, just experiments. We need a battery that charges fast, is reliable and doesn't explode itselt and has long life. Maybe a hybrid of some sort super capacitor(with nano materials) and LiFePO4?

You're thinking more in terms of energy storage, but what about devices that actually produce electricity on the spot? I saw a prototype of one which used coke to power a cell phone. I've also seen water being used, and they even though of using tiny fuel cells... There are so many possibilities we haven't even though about it, certainly our imagination currently is limited. Think outside of the box, there's really a lot more out there :D

Even if someone creates a battery that can hold much much more power than lithium ion and simular batteries. 10 minutes for a laptop is very unlikely.. lots of amps, phones? definitely..electric cars in 10 minutes? nearly impossible(exce pt if you have a plug with 500A or a plug with 1000v or more :P)

I love it how out of all the other companies that make mobile chips trolls pick on nvidia, why so much love? Its not like TI offering something revolutionary, it is expected to be more efficient. Your argument is based on a paper launch and not actuall benchmarks.

WoW... so in the future with 20nm chips we are going to have smartphones that last longer. Correct me if I am wrong but this is not exactly rocket science. Was there a possibility future chips to be slower and more power hungry?
