1) Llano isn't only mainstream. Llano can fit very well in all notebook markets. A) Gaming. You can't fit as many GPUs as you like. So, you can have an extreme gaming notebook with 3 GPUs. While with Sandy Bridge you can have at most 2 + 1 crappy miniature IGP. B) Mainstream. It can play all intensive multimedia content (like HD) easily. It can perform everyday tasks very happily. C) Ultra-portable. You have the Exxxx, the A4s, and Brazos. 2) Llano has 240-400 streaming processors, Sandy Bridge has none. 3) Llano creates a new exciting market that Intel can't compete at, at all. It's the very affordable gaming with regular battery life.

I just don't get it... Llano offers equal or better power consumption and also offers unmatched graphics performance than Intel's Sandybridge , and still it's regarded as a cheap alternative? What's wrong with you guys? If Intel can charge an arm and a leg for their processors with shitt-y graphics, why AMD can't do the same with their average-performing CPU with superior GPU? Anyone please, clear this one out for me because I am clueless...

Yet, a lot of them collect dust on some shelves. It's good to see that now AMD has a competitive product in what battery life concerns... out with the old, in with the fused.

affordable, power efficient and decent all round performance. sounds like a win in the OEM market to me. a excellent foot in the door with oem's for AMD (where they had a toe in the door with brazo) now that intel can't abuse its monopoly any longer. hopefully OEM's realizes they have a vested interest in getting intel and AMD as close as possible in terms of market share.

AMD did a great job on Llano's design. AMD did a better job IMO in terms of design, implementing the GPU inside the CPU vs. Sandy Bridge. Though at the end of the day both perform just as they were meant to do.
