Even Intel realizes that x86 needs to raise its game (from a power usage standpoint), so for x86's ugly sister (AMD) its going to be a uphill battle to stay relevant in that market, but fusion seems to be attracting lots of positive press. Whats worrying is that AMD has little cash for acquisitions, and is stuck growing organically in a stagnant to declining market (x86 PC's). It seems to me server/cloud hardware would be a better area for it to concentrate on. NV is well positioned for the "post-PC" era and should be given credit for that. AMD sold its mobile group and I'm sure is still regretting it. Why wouldn't you want crazy powerful mobile chips? its a win for everyone.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Sure you can tell there's little or no AA/AF, and the framerate is choppy at times, but it's still impressive considering the size, price, TDP, etc. of these chips. Of course you're not going to get $300 discrete GPU level graphics on a sub-$50, sub-1 watt mobile CPU/GPU but all things considered it's pretty good. I don't know if last year's integrated graphics on PC could do that.

That's right. The closest thing AMD has to this Is fusion. Chip that needs some type of cooling and use a lot more power then Tigra. I am impressed with Kal-El.It's able to run windows and and a real game. Something that iDivices will never be able to do

Because its a console game, they are ugly by design...being able to run in on a mobile device is still awesome, + it doesnt look as bad on a small screen.

Well said! Nvidia lost 8.5% since last year while AMD gained over 16%... if it will continue to gain even 10% it will overthrone nvidia and looking at the things to come, AMD will have its crown!
