Haha! I laugh, Intel is always not compatible generation to generation needs new motherboard that is more precise. AMD is for budget constrained people but still delivers good performance. It is like Toyata vs Ford, Toyota is for more practical use but still can deliver what a Ford can offer while Ford for muscle and display but expensive to maintain.

God darn it! Why should Intel make such a mess of backward compatibility? I mean, cant the user just throw in their old freaking sandy processor and get the system up and running? I mean, to be fair, people who will buy it pay for WHOLE of the motherboard and it will be unfair to disable features with sandy bridge. Sandy is not even that old to phase it out. Sometimes i feel AMD is MUCH MUCH better in maintaining backward compatibility atleast for a few years before phasing it out.
