The sockets are not hard to remember, though comfusing. But actually the amount of pins on the cpu chips...from socket 478,775,1155,1156,1366 and lga 2011. Count all the pins and you'll get that number from that specific socket. I tend to agree with all of you, that intel can p**** you off, for manufacturing a different socket or change nm's of the cpu. Which amd excells in keeping their sockets which only need bios updates for new cpu.

if you tell me for example socket e.g. 1366 is amd's or intel's socket I can tell you thats intel's but if you ask me how many sockets intel have recently I can't answer that but with amd I can tell you, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ ..easy. Intel you should think easier names and I don't mind if there are 10 or more different sockets.

The main advantage of integrated USB 3 functionality would be ubiquitous adoption, especially for notebooks where manufacturers have often relegated the standard to specific models. For example, if I were to buy a Lenovo X220 and wanted USB 3 I'd have to get an i7 model. Despite the i7 models being quite overpriced and, in my particular market, hard to find with the IPS display option.
