if 2011 is trigated, it will be cooler, require less voltage and overclock far higher and thus offer superior performane per watt to anything amd has.

This slight oversight was expected to fuel intel fans. I won't expect AMD to have the high-end crown and probably a lot of other AMD customers don't, because that will mean insane prices, which is not why AMD is here in the first place. If I wanted high prices I would have just stuck with Intel. My expectation of BD is to be on the same page as most of the market in more areas than just games. These CPU's are already fast enough for most of the tasks, and even if intel has some insane CPU, I still would not cough up a grand to buy it so no point in complaining that BD gets beaten by it, or prowling in case of intel supporters, who won't buy it either.

So when AMD release Bulldozer Intel will simply drop the price of the Midrange 2500K/2600K CPU's and release its new high end offering. Not looking good for AMD, was hoping they were gonna take back the performance crown with Bulldozer, but its looking like they can't even beat Intels midrange convincingly. Meh at least I can stick with my 2600K without getting the upgrade bug, at least until Intels high end is released lol

Well its neck and neck with the i7-2600K. FX will beat it in multi-threaded applications but not single-threaded. So it inevitably will come down to pricing. i7-2600K isn't exactly a wallet buster though.

Fuad Abazovic says Bulldozer should win in some cases against Intels new Extreme core High end Cpu's, but Peter Scott says Bulldozer is on par with 2600K.. Quote "The 8-core FX series CPU matches the Core i7 2600k in CPU performance" "This is still not enough to threaten Intel’s lead in the high-end," Meaning the current high end, let alone the new unreleased Intel Extreme core... Which article are we supposed to believe?
