TechHog Really now?!! So what are these system requirements? :D No fail on my part but AM-DOO DOO's. You get what you pay for. AM-DOO DOO released $h!tty @$$ chips and should pay for every one that failed like they expect Global Foundries to do.

It is covered under that setting so long as you meet the system requirements. Part of the reason Apple switched to AMD was to reduce cost. Also, they'd only be hypocrites if the cards didn't work, so you just disproved you own point. Epic fail on your part, especially since you're basically saying the AMD should be giving chips away for free. :-) By the way, NVidia's fastest mobile card costs more than $800 while AMD's, which is only 5% slower on average and even beats it half the time, is a bit under $500 and can overclock enough to beat it, and Crossfire 6970M's beat SLI 485M's despite costing $600 less. Oh, and the tax on a $700 item isn't $100.

Who said they're not working? Who cares? They're over priced and AM-DUNG has issued $h!tty @$$ chips themselves very recently. Did Apple get its money back?!!

I was arguing against the rest of your made-up crap, such you saying that the 6990 is $800 and not covered by warranty, and trying to show how pointless it is to complain about the cad being overpriced (which, really, it isn't). Would you mind showing me an article proving that a lot of 6990 cards aren't working? :)

@TechHog Again you make no sense, if you agreed with the post then why attack it?!! I was pointing out the hypocrisy of a company who doesn't want to pay for bad chips, but just delivered $h!tty @$$ chips themselves, and won't warranty an expensive $h!tty @$$ card they just dropped! What do you think will happen when thy pay for chips that don't work.

Warrior, you don't pay tax on internet sales, or anything you buy out-of-state. And it's nowhere near $800, but it is less than a 590, performs better, and doesn't explode.

@Warrior You said that AMD would charge a high premium if they could. I responded by saying that all companies would. Last time I checked, AMD is a company. So, how was I disagreeing with you on that point again? Also, where in the article does it say that they're going to ask for their money back? Oh, and it is covered by warranty. They made the wording confusing, but it's definitely covered.
