Ah yes about that, I did not mention anything about tegra 4, but. Tegra 3 based on 28nm chips. Qualcomm also has a quad core launching Q1 2012 base on the smaller chips size. ( and their is texasinstrument s, marvel, samsung, apple) to follow. These chips might not be seen till early 2012, but I think the wait will be worth it IMO.

Look at IPad 2 and you get your answer by the way I won't think Tegra 4 and Tegra 3 would launch at the times near close to each other unless other companies produce their 4 core arm based products on 28nm this year

From tegra 3 to gtx 590 are all based on the end of the 40 nm, When tegra and geforce (kepler) will suppport 28nm chips by skipping a whole 32nm chip gen, it will be way more powerfull and efficient and will cost as much if not less, ( which are both Around the corner to launch in a few quarters) so who cares about these products when the next chips are around the corner that will skip a whole gen in performance and efficiency?

I know you're a troll and not worth responding to, but just in case: Dual-core android devices: Tegra 2 = 8 tablets, 4 phones Exynos = 1 phone OMAP 4 = 1 phone Snapdragon 3 = 1 tablet, 1 phone I wonder why almost everyone is using Tegra 2. FYI all ARM cortex-A9 SOCs perform about the same on CPU side. On GPU side, OMAP 4 > Tegra 2 > Exynos, though their differences are small. Snapdragon 3's GPU performance is unknown. EDIT: I didn't mention Apple A5, because it'll never be used for an Android device
