I think that problem not only lies on the price of CPU but the overall cost of the components benind which Intel prove it is always expansive and not worth

I haven't seen a really good Tegra 2 tablet that it is not also expensive, so $50 difference for the processor makes no real difference for the consumer. If someone is willing to pay $700 for a tablet he will gladly pay $750 for something with the Intel logo on it. When tablet's come down in a more reasonable price category, like $250, then you would see Intel selling with only a very small premium over ARM, let's say $10-$20.

Crazy!. For $75, Intel should add, Cpu, NM hub/GPU, LCD driver chipset and 16GB SSD. This would make a tablet under $200 and users can pay $30 for Win7 embedded. At this rate, Intel is not serious about the tablet market.

Intel are being shoved out of the tablet market anyway by AMD and Nvidia, the only thing they can't provide unlike the other two is enough graphical horsepower to make tablets a more immersion experience with HD and smooth graphical feature
