Too bad you and IDC didn't take your own advice. Let's try a little reality, what do you say? The first quarter after a big and highly anticipated launch of a new platform always goes hand in hand with a healthy increase in sales and profits. While a .3% marketshare increase isn't a death knell, it can't be called healthy by any stretch of the word. Intel will weather this crisis because it has the cash reserves to do so, but to say that the Sandy bridge didn't affect is a statement of such asinine quality that only a financial analyst could make it.
