Fair enough, ION has very good graphics, but the power requirement of the Atom+ION package seems to be higher than the AMD Ontario scheme. Given similar performance CPU and GPU, lower power consumption gives longer battery life... which is what customers care about. So in the netbook/thin&light market I think AMD beats Atom+ION because it has lower power consumption for similar performance.

Exactly. I bought an Acer Ontario c50 based netbook about 10 days ago. Three things make it better than my eeepc 1000 Atom netbook: graphics, screen rez and price ($299 Canadian). The CPU is somewhat better but not stunningly so. 1280x720 is much nicer to stare at than 1024x600, and the GPU can actually run OpenGL & DX11 apps. The biggest weakness of Atom platform was graphics. AMD has dealt with that problem with the c50 at least!

NewEgg actually lists 3 boards 2 of which are in stock: GIGABYTE GA-E350N-USB3 for $149 (in stock) Asus E35M1-M PRO for $139 (oos) ASRock E350M1 for $109 (in stock) NewEgg's listing system is all messed up though. They don't have all these boards properly listed under their chipset or cpu categories.
