Actually things are not that good for AMD, they are doing well in the netbook market but their Brazos E Series for ultraportables is far from impressive. Their E-350 is about 35% slower than an i3-330UM in terms of CPU power and in terms of graphics about 65% faster. The problem however is that the i3-330UM is already a past generation CPU, while the second generation Core "i" is significantly faster, especially on the GPU side (it's almost on par with the integrated Radeon 6310). Now this is not all that bad, while by June AMD will be one generation behind Intel, they will still have some amazing prices for what they have to offer. Hopefully people will not perceive that as poor quality.

Very good considering the chip is only sold to OEMs and not individual consumers The Toshiba NB550D is listed on Curry's, Dixons and PC World (UK) for £279.99 but they're currently not available, which still means that they're not for sale in the UK yet. What pisses me off the most is that countries like India and Taiwan are getting fusion gadgets before us, FFFFUUUUU!!!...although I hear the Lenovo ThinkPad x120e "Notbook" is being released in two weeks in the UK

Because the article is focused more on business than tech. That said, it is completely in context to mention AMD not having a way to truly take advantage of Intel's chipset woes with Sandy Bridge.

Slow? Have you even looked at any of the comparisons between Fusion and Atom/Ion offerings (http://www.fudzilla.com/processors/item/21432-amd-fusion-c-50-apu-tested)? Have you seen any of the reviews about fusion motherboards coming out (http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/1102/pg12/msi-e350ia-e45-amd-fusion-motherboard-review-conclusion.html for starters)? Or maybe just some overall reviews of the technology (http://www.maximumpc.com/article/home/fusion_amds_atom_smasher)? Fusion destroys Atom/Ion offerings and makes a good run at the i3 and even some i5 chips. Good GOD you're an idiot.
