This one should be able to work passively. I've got GT240 that has very similar specifications and I put a Zalman VNF200 passive cooler on it and it works beautifully. All that's needed is a little breeze of air over it. I must say that I'm very satisfied with this GT240 and I can play many games quite satisfactorily, too. It actually is an ultimate HTPC card when you pair it with VNF200 and it is quite cheap. ;)

This card looks suspicious. Even on the Palit website, specs are not detailed enough. Until proven otherwise, it simply seems to be an O/C version of the GT430. We know that the GT430 has too few TMUs and ROPs. If this GT440 uses the same chip, it will still be a relatively poor performer. http://www.palit.biz/main/vgapro.php?id=1509#spec Specs of the "new" GT440 on NVidia's web site: http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-geforce-gt-440-us.html I'm looking forward to reviews that will prove me wrong by showing there is a new chip in the GT440
