And all of those invisible signals to trip over and try to hide! What an unsightly mess?!! :D So what you could do is hook up six monitors and let the cables hang down and shove them under the desk or something!

it's not smart, it's just common sense, I would rather have one cable coming out of the back of my PC to the monitor rathers than a bunch of spider legs hanging out, especially in crossfire/SLI

never, ever, run a pc in a cupboard.the temps are just going to rocket.and quiet/near silent fans are hardly expensive, about £8 a pop, and a decent fan controller, you're sorted with the noise issue.

all you guys hating consider this: same or similar response times. gives you the option to build a performance rig with the loudest fans you want, throw it in a cupboard and not have the listern to the whineing fans. it could make as much noise as you like you wont hear it. but i very much doubt they will have the response times anywhere near what is required, and a 460 is too powerful for HTPCs or just browsing the web. it would be esier to run a hdmi and a couple of usb ports through the wall.

Well this tech isn't geared towards gamers and I agree that it's pretty cumbersome at the moment (5 aerials + receiver). However, in a few years time it will probably be smaller, cheaper and commonplace. Obviously you're not gonna use it to connect a monitor on the top of your desk, but it will come in handy if you want to stream stuff from your PC to the TV with no hassle. I'd need a 20m HDMI cable to connect my TV to my PC, so I'd go for it in a heartbeat...

Being a hardcore gamer, this is NOT what I want to see in the future. Any smart gamer would never go wireless as it is nothing but trouble. I hear people whining all the time about how their wireless connection got lost and they died so fast in game . I just laugh!
