cant find the site, but the winning netbook tested was the Asus EEE PC 1215N w/ION 2 graphics. anyone can beat last gen intel graphics, but ION 2 is a whole different story. and we all knew ION can do HD with ease. if you plan for a new badass netbook, do some research.

Also count in the power usage... if one would to OC the C-50 to match the power cycle for the same battery capacity as Atom, the C-50 would be faster in all test. Also valid if for the price difference between the two platforms a buyer could opt for a bigger battery?... that would put AMD at a clear advantage. I'm wondering if anyone has actually tried OC'ing Ontario to outperform Atom in every CPU tests.

At most, Atom can equal Fusion's performance in some specific applications. There's no "edge" . But even if it would be , shouldn't the price be lower? Lower perfomance = lower price . Fusions cost between 300 and 400$ Atoms should cost between 150 and 270 $.

Doesn't look that wiped too me? Sure the fusion gpu is a different league but the dual core atom cpu looks a little quicker. If you want HD movies or games it's no contest but for the bread n butter of most netbooks - i.e. web surfing, word processing - the atom still has the edge.
