I don't watch TV at all and never listened to Radio, so I wouldn't know any new music if I wouldn't be able to see it in new bittorrent / P2P sites.

Music makers' revenue have increased ten times in the last 10 years so why are they complaining? You get the music through P2P , listen to it and, if you really like it and you think its worth it, you buy it. It has been like this forever ... sure you can borrow a disk from a friend or record a K7 tape from the radio but ONLY if you really like the stuff would you buy the original CD. In fact .. being able to download the music from P2P networks makes the songs more popular and RAISES sales not lowers them. Does RIAA really think I would EVER buy music I haven't listened already ?!?!?! I must know the song to put my money up for it. It's not stealing its trying/judging the merchandise before buying it.

I don't think Limewire have enough money (if any) to give to record industries, they offered Limewire pro for a price but it was available to download by peers in Limewire basic anyway, kind of wierd to think that the product you're trying to market would ultimately be it's own flaw
