;-) Remember those notebook advert campaigns that had a guy in a business suit sitting in the lotus position on top of a mountain increasing shareholder value? Laugh my ass off. Next it will be gamers on top of the mountain. The 40 pound battery pack will be conveniently out of the pic.

In all the notebooks I've owned the weak part was IMHO the graphics 3D performance. 2nd gen MacBook Pro was OK, but no great shakes. It's never really been a problem for me because I don't play games on notebooks. Discrete graphics in a notebook, meh. I think AMD's new 'APU' chips will be very nice because the CPU will be quite good enough and the graphics looks to be very good compared to existing integrated graphics, and it looks like the power budget is good. Just my $0.02, and I know I'm OT here ;-)

the battery lasts long enough for you to get out your charger and plug it in :-* tbh, when idle or doing day to day browsing,it shouldnt use too much, and when you are doing intensive tasks/gaming on a laptop you will have it plugged in

AMD's HD5870 mobility is 75W, 2 of these in Crossfire performs both better and consumes much less than Nvidia's 100W TDP monster ;) Also as far as high-end GPU's in laptop goes you WILL have it plugged into the wall period. There is no way the battery will hold anyways, products like these should more be looked at a compact and portable desktop.

28nm isn't ready for mass production yet, so early 2012 sounds right for the 28nm mobile parts, while 28nm desktop parts should come in late 2011 (Q3/Q4).
