Deccan River - India Brazos River & Lake - Texas, USA Krishna River - India Yuba River & Lake - Arizona, USA Lake Ontario - Canada Hudson River & Lake, NY USA Maybe the APUs are the river names and the FCHs are the lakes? But then Ontario doesn't fit unless there is an Ontario River.

Fudzilla staff are too lazy to explain! APU = Accelerator Processor Unit. GPU + CPU on the same silicon. Marketed under "Fusion" brand. For 2011... Ontario = 9 Watt version Bobcat-based APU. Brazos = Mobile platform (for netbook/SFF market) using Ontario processor. Hudson = South Bridge for Brazos. For 2012... Krishna = Replaces Ontario. Improved cores and IGP. Deccan = Replaces Brazos. Yuba = Replaces Hudson.

Ontario is a province in Canada. (The) Deccan is a region of central India. Hudson is a huge bay in northern Canada. Krishna is a Hindu deity. Yuba - I have no idea. Brazos - I have no idea. I'd say AMD is teasing. However the Countess makes a good point. Perhaps AMD polls it's engineers for the names? All kinds of people work at AMD, and the company needs code names.
