No one seems to get the point, there are only 16 lanes of bandwidth available on the p67 chipset. Unless that Nvidia chip that adds extra bandwidth is added there is no point to all those PCI-E slots unless you have your choice of which two slots to plug your two video cards in to. Kudos to whoever can name that Nvidia chip, I can't remember what it's called offhand. Without it all the other slots won't work because 16 lanes split between two cards is 8x and 8x without any leftover bandwidth unless they run one card on 4x lanes and split the other four lanes. Sockets 1155 and 1156 weren't intended for fully loaded systems though, they were meant for home office environments.

Products are developed far in advance, most of the serious lifting for this product was done when Shamino and crew were still there. At least I would guess it was that way. I like EVGA's motherboards, they're the replacement for DFI. ASUS and Gigabyte are ok, but their customer service is crap. For that matter, so was DFI's.

Looks ok, I like that we are moving over to just all 16x slots. This lets you plug in what every you want, 1x, 4x, 8x, 16x. Biggest problem for me is i am a horder, i need alot more than just 6 SATA sockets! I have a Blu-Ray player, DVD Writer, and about 7 HDDs. I guess its easy enough to buy some SATA PCi Cards but i just don't think i should need to on a brand new MB.
