If you look up the slide HD 6970 is in same row slight up with GTX 570 so it means AMD release 6970 to compete with GTX 570 not GTX 580. Who knows maybe AMD will release a single card faster than 6970 like the time of 4870 to 4890.

Yes, it will be indeed. They'll drop clocks like hell and redesign a MUCH more effective cooler for 2x that monstrous die size. Considering the money they lost on the 4xx series, I don't think they can afford another fiasco. Market needs at least 2 players, for the buyer's sake.

Really? I wish I could show my nvidia too (5 of them) as easily, but hey.. that's life. Just google "6970 review" again. With the internet connection on this time. Your sarcasm will vanish quickly.

Stop trolling... the only game I see the issue beeing pointed out is that racing game few of us want to play. If you would have bothered to read the article it said clear in regards to mass effect: "We have a hard time spotting differences as much as you do [...] Read the rest of that article. The point is, it's not apples to apples unless they're BOTH APPLES. AMD's changes are admittedly little compared to the 8% performance gains- kudos for that- BUT it incorrectly colors benchmarks. That is a FACT. If you don't want to set AMD up to quality, set nV down AMD's standards. Or just take 8% off every AMD bench.

If thats what you are refering too, sorry mate but envidia does it aswell, with another approach: 8X CS AA uses (1,4,4) per pixel vs (1,8,8) samples for MS AA. 16x CS AA (1, 4, 16). 16xQ CS AA (1, 8, 16). 16X MS AA (1, 16, 16) They've even forced CS AA in Dirt 2. As for the default and high quality settings in the CCC and game optimizations or "profiles", we've had this since ever, and you can find the same thing in the Nforce drivers. With Nvidia CS AA is applied by default. and unless you force MS or SS AA, you get less quality and more performance by default.
