Funny how people think of TI as not being able to deliver until about 2012 , they were being faster then AMD and Intel , when they were still stuck at 150nm , TI was @ 130nm , now they have been @ 45nm for quite some time already .

impressive but considering they will start to produce in 2nd half of 2011...I would say this will hit the market in 2012...and at that point, it might not be impressive anymore...as ARM Cortex A15 might hit the market with 2.5 GHz and way more impressive features.

If the device is using a 28nm chip, as alluded to in that link, you won't see it in devices until 2012 at the earliest. Not even the big players who adopt new manufacturing processes early will release 28nm chips until the second half of 2011, cue AMD graphics hardware. Intel, who have their own plants, will go to 22nm in Q1 2012. The idea that smartphone SoC manufacturers would ramp up their game quickly enough to see a 28nm chip in 2011 is somewhat unbelievable. Heck, Qualcomm only just went to 45nm.

Not bad, but the Galaxy S's Hummingbird already features a SGX 540 inside! Well, I guess the dual cores at 1.5Ghz will bring some much needed extra processing power and gpu will not be cpu limited any more. lol
