If you want to know what is going on Dribble, stop asking here, go read AMD's financial reports. It's a publically traded company and that info is available. Find out whether AMD's debt is decreasing over time or not...

Whatever it was it shows no sign of changing - there were no one-off-cost's. Point still stands - if ati can barely make money when they have complete dominance someone somewhere is doing something wrong.

It's good we see AMD and ATI work hand in hand , good graphics makes more sense , it doesn't matter . So what if you have 100 GFlops of CPU processing power ? Can it render as well as a 5450 ? No , you can't . Not even a Top range xeon can . Considering how bad Intel makes their IGP's . Can you seriously render 5 gtexels ( Mobility HD 5430 mind you , might be 6310 too , i don't know , it looks like 6310 is less power hungry ) on a HD graphics , whether desktop / notebook And remember , for a taskforce that low , you get such good stuff , which is , fair enough . You won't see that from intel or nvidia :)

As a kid , i always knew AMD was gonna churn out something called "fusion" , i was the one writing the imaginary name when they didn't think of it ! At least credit me , AMD . And as always , people fail to realise , AMD is like Intel married Nvidia , but with 25% of the taskforce of Intel . ( Correct me )

the fact that ATI is co-designing not 1 but 2 CPU's and still carrying a costs from the merger wouldn't have anything to do with that now would it?

Problem is in Q3 for which ati had complete DX11 dominance (don't think GTX 460 was really out then) on a mature 40nm design, with all their smaller die and other advantages ati made a grand total of $2 million profit. The sun doesn't shine brighter then it did in Q3 - ati should have made $200 million not $2 million. What is going on? That's why people worry - the engineers do a good job but someone somewhere is doing something very wrong.

Sammy, if anything Fudzilla is filled with AMD fanboys. You don't see to many diehard nVidia or intel posters. You do see some rational posts favoring intel and nVidia, but usually the droning of the AMD kiddies. My advice to these AMD fanboys is to buy some AMD stock and see how much they like what AMD is doing after a quarter or two of at best stagnation. I think I'll give AMD two, maybe three quarters post Bulldozer. If their financial situation hasn't changed for the better, I'm dumping the rest of the stock. Maybe use it to buy some NVDA, maybe I'll try to find another STEC to make some quick money. Who knows? I am very glad I unloaded most of my AMD shares back in May 2006.

looks like Fudzilla filled with Intel-Nvidia diehard fanboys or some stupid freaks that take loyalty to speak some predefined speeches against AMD. when i hear comments like "AMD makes crap chips or accelerators", makes me laugh load. are these ppls from some R&D center that open up each & every AMD processor or accelerator & search for what its made of? cause i sure they never read any review, not even the Intel-Nvidia ones. cause at end of each review its written that either I/N is slightly faster or slightly slower than AMD ones. & so AMD proccies carries real value. so do their accelerators. Its not Intel or Nvidia products are bad or carries no value for customers. they do. but talking like a dumb ass, i feel these comments should be deleted as spams.
