amd ccc drivers are so pitiful that we now understand the details of the development cycle like how 10.11 wont incorporate all of the 10.10e features because they are different teams, working from differnt points, and we know what websites to complain about ccc, we know the blogs, etc.. but those are all symptoms of us having major issue after issue with ccc drivers since 10.5. yea, i tried this joke of a driver and yes, it simply made my system into a 25" vga screen.. hourse later i called it quits and just restored my system back to the point before 10.11. all the while the nvidia drivers roll on without much fuss even when the new boards come out. i'm actaully afraid to put a new ati driver on a system now. can't be said for green team.

It's a DX10 problem... blame Microsoft. There is a 'workaround' that I use for Crysis when I (rarely) play it. That is to create a new custom mode based on 1920x1080 60Hz but decrease the vertical res one step. I think you end up with 1920x1076. You lose two lines on top and bottom, but you won't really notice.

In the CatalystMaker twitter, he recommends those that have 10.10e to keep it and not update to 10.11, since 10.10e is actually a newer version. http://twitter.com/catalystmaker

Idiot! Catalyst 10.10 was released October 23. Then came 10.10a, 10.10b, 10.10c, ... till 10.10e was released November 13. And today Catalyst 10.11. That's 7 (SEVEN!) within one month. But of course you AMD fanboys like updating your buggy drivers on a daily basis. What's really funny: 10.11 does not even work with 6850/6870! 10.10a,b,c,d,e does.
